Not labeling ourselves any which way we lie outside expectations. We invite all to attend regardless of any specific social/sexual orientation. DADT’s motto is “All are welcome who welcome all”. It is a monthly party generally held the fourth Saturday at Great Scott in Allston, MA. You can always expect wild outfits, progressive DJs and an edgy drag show!

<<< HOUSEBOI >>>
Houseboi is a genderqueer dance party for humans and their friends on the first Wednesday of the month at Zuzu in Cambridge, MA. We strive to create an amazing dance night with great DJs and performers from all over the United States focusing on genderqueer, transgender, queer and self-identifying female artists. We make sure that, while partying and having a great time are our goals, above all we strive to create space safe for the communities we represent.
char(7) began throwing and playing parties in the early 2000s at the Redtail loft- an artist and music collective in Fort Point channel, Boston. From there he got involved with the Radical Faeries, helping with the Comfort and Joy camp - throwing fundraisers and playing on playa events such as "Just Touch" and "Honey Dusted" for several years. He's played San Fransisco's "Afterglow" closing pride party as well as monthly "Polyglamarous". He currently holds a residency at Zuzu in Boston for the party Houseboi.
DJ Pussywillow brings a joyful queer energy to dance floors and forests across the U.S. He co-hosts the monthly genderqueer party Houseboi in Cambridge, and is also a host of the Green program, Boston's longest-running electronic music radio show (since 1999) on WZBC 90.3 FM. As a founding member of thee gnomefatty kollektiv and their Circle parties, he's co-created welcoming, egalitarian dance events in Boston since 1998. He's performed at Polyglamorous (SF), Afternoon Delight (Oakland), Firefly (Vermont), as well as numerous Radical Faerie events at Short Mountain Sanctuary (Tennessee), Dance Church (Philadelphia), and Camp Destiny (Vermont).
<<< EVLV TECH >>> Dee Diggs, Tameka w/ two guests
There would be no culture without subculture so we are working to raise and redefine the standards and norms of music technology. By showcasing and uniting self-identified female, genderqueer, transgender, and gender non-binary producers, Dj’s and live performers, we recreate a new narrative for the current male-dominated circuit in club culture and music technology
Elisabeth, a Boston native, cut her teeth DJing in Montreal where she was inspired by the rich and diverse underground music scene. Her personal taste and DJ output are informed by an array of sounds ranging from house to techno to hip hop to disco to many others styles beyond and in between. Elisabeth is a resident DJ of Scanners, a monthly techno night at Zuzu. You can also catch her djing at other locations both near and far.
Dee Diggs is a DJ, event curator & organizer based in Boston, MA.
She is unapologetically black, queer, & femme.
She is building and using her influence to create space for marginalized groups to express & organize themselves. Her aim is to sustain more spaces where these groups are valued and thanked by name for their contributions to humanity. (Thank the OG Black innovators for House & Techno! Thank you, Disco-era Queens & Queers alike for the theatrics & fanfare of nightlife as we know it! etc.)
Her sound is on the A-side, grounded & self-referential, but on the the B-side, a dreamy and foreign pursuit.
