Don't Ask Don't Tell Boston is Boston’s largest inclusive queer party! Our motto is ALL ARE WELCOME WHO WELCOME ALL! NOTE: Generally we are every fourth Saturday of the month but for February we are the fifth!
—————————————————————————————
American burlesque is a genre of variety show. Burlesque shows in America became popular in the 1860s and evolved to feature lewd jokes and female striptease. By the early 20th century, burlesque in America was presented as a populist blend of satire, performance art, music hall and adult entertainment featuring striptease and broad comedy acts.
This month at DADT we are exploring the art form that is burlesque! The theme should conjure up a sense of sultry attire and bootylicious dance moves. Fishnets, lace, bedazzled everything! We wanna smell the sex pouring out the doors of Great Scott.
The event is extra special this month as we invite up and coming artist Jill Blutt to perform tracks her brand new EP LIVE for the DADT audience!
Jill Blutt
————-
is a queer singer-songwriter and producer currently based in Boston. Born and raised in New York City, Jill’s teenage affinity for pop-punk music would later influence her laidback, nostalgic sound. Blending lyric-forward songwriting with lo-fi pop production, her music aims to provide validation to those who seek it and musical accompaniment to this whole “existence” thing. "

This month we also feature special guest DJ Kerry Quirk at DADT!
This bad ass DJ pulls no punches on or off the decks. Curator for Meltdown Mondays for @SonicAgenda617 and hostess with the mostess of her long running party The Ooze. There is a rumor she is going to wear her pink tuxedo- so you know she’s serious.

Kerry will be joined by nine year resident DJ Colby Drasher- you’ve probably seen him on stage, out at a club, or flyering the streets of Allston. With over a decade of experience DJing and hosting parties- he will not disappoint.
